Hi, I’m Mark.
I’m an independent theatre Producer and founder of Hestian Arts, based in Essex and London. I am passionate about telling timely, heartfelt and thought-provoking stories that explore all facets of the human experience - the good, the bad and the ugly.A recent alum of the Mercury Theatre Producers Programme, recent productions include the award-winning production of The Sea Horse (Golden Goose Theatre) - winner for Performance at the 2026 OFFIES, Home, I’m Darling (Headgate Theatre), The Dastardly Murder of the Chocolate Soufflé (Camden Fringe at the Rosemary Branch Theatre), and The Refuge (Barons Court Theatre).A massive collaborator at heart, I am equally as open to originating new work with artists and writing funding applications, as I am with jumping in to support creatives and fellow producers on projects that are already in motion. Hestian Arts is a theatre company that is dedicated to producing timely, heartfelt and thought-provoking work that centres the human condition, prioritising the stories of women, LGBTQ+ communities, as well as the stories of people from multi-cultural backgrounds.The name Hestian Arts is derived from Hestia, the Greek goddess of the hearth. With the hearth being the enduring cradle of conversation and human connection, the company aims to create work that provides a space for urgent stories and perspectives that feel simultaneously personal and universal.
